Tekken 7 Gameplay

Tekken 7 focuses on 1v1 battles. New features to the gameplay include:

• Power Crush: Performs an attack with the Mid or High property that may continue to attack while absorbing an opponent’s attacks.
• Rage Art: A crucial action particular to each character that is only used in Rage mode and renders it inactive until the following round. Depending on the character, the initial attack will cause approximately 30% damage and start a cinematic scene if it hits the target.
• Screw hits: This primarily replaces the Ground Bound (formerly known as Bound) mechanic, which increased the chance to execute lengthy, high-damage combos by sending an opponent struck by a rocket back to the ground and placing them in a defenseless position. Similar to Ground Bounding moves, Screw hits apply in a similar way, but the receiving opponent’s animation is changed, sending them into an aerial spinning (thus the name “screw”) as they descend to the ground. Screw hits cannot be used to create wall combinations like the Ground Bound can.
