How to play Thamuz:
Thamuz is a damage-oriented fighter, and life-steal provides the majority of his durability. Playing it cautiously in the beginning of the game will make getting goods easier and prevent you from encouraging enemy killing.
Thamuz is better equipped to start fights once he unlocks his ultimate ability because his inferno gives him an advantage in attack speed and life regeneration for inflicting damage.
Thamuz prefers to enter fights after they have started rather than starting them. Work alongside the tank on your squad to take advantage of confrontations that they charge into by taking out crowd-controlled foes and clearing out targets with low health.
Tactics:
Early game (level 1-7): You can cut the lane or take the enemy red buff depending on where your enemies.
Mid game (level 8-12): Try to hide in the bush to gank the enemy damage dealer and for a successful leap. But do not forget to push lanes.
Late game (level 13+): Use your second skill wisely in a team fight cause it is the only way of getting your skill 1 when it gets far. In combat, try to lure the enemies towards your team then.
Thamuz Skills
Passive – Grand Lord Lava
Each Basic Attack made by Thamuz while wielding his scythes has a [25%] chance to summon a burst of lava energy beneath the target, which bursts after a 0.7-second delay and does 50 (+110% Total Physical Attack) True Damage.
Thamuz will increase his basic attack [for 5 seconds] and get 25% more movement speed when without Scythes. The victim is slowed by 30% by the increased Basic Attack, and Lava Energy is always released.
Skill 1 – Molten Scythes
The first enemy hero or creep that receives a hit from the Scythes will suffer 150–300 (+60% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage from Thamuz. The Scythes roll in the same direction at a slower speed after striking a target or moving a specified distance; every 0.5 seconds, they deliver 45-80 (+20% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to adjacent opponents and slow them by 30%.
When Thamuz is too far away or [after approximately 5.10 seconds], the Scythes will return to him. Thamuz can recast this spell or go up to the Scythes to quickly grab them.
Skill 2 – Chasm Trample
Thamuz leaps to a predetermined location, dealing physical damage to the opponent units of 230-355 (+60% Extra Physical Attack) and slowing them by 25% for two seconds. The scythes will return to Thamuz if they are still [traveling], at which point Molten Scythes will instantly reset its CD.
Skill 3 – Cauterant Inferno
A Cauterant Zone is formed around Thamuz as he spews the lava that is stored within his body, causing 150–300 (+80% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to adversaries nearby. The Cauterant Zone lasts 9 seconds and causes nearby opponents to sustain 30–60 (+10% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage every 0.5 seconds.
In the meantime, Thamuz improves his Attack Speed by 1.3–1.6 times, acquires 500–1500 additional Max HP, and heals himself by the same amount. Every time he uses his Scythes, Basic Attacks, or Chasm Trample to cause damage, he also recovers 1.5% to 2.5% of his maximum health.
