How to play Yve:
Close quarters battle is one of the hero’s weaknesses. So, when dealing with rival heroes, you must be able to maintain your distance.
Tactics:
Early game (level 1-7): Try to get into the middle lane; this will enable you to rotate into the top or bot lane more quickly. Alternately, you can use the gold lane. Get rid of the first group of minions.
Mid game (level 8-12: Yve is extremely vulnerable, so don’t try to farm or trade alone. Instead, try to assist your buddies or wait in the bush for a successful gank.
Late game (level 13+): During a team fight always aim your ultimate at the damage dealer to make sure that you hit the right target.
Yve Skills
Passive – Galactic Power
Each time Yve uses Void Blast or Void Crystal to damage an opposing hero, she builds up a stack of Galactic Power (up to 10 stacks). When using Real World Manipulation, Yve can launch an additional attack and acquire 5% more shield with each stack of Galactic Power.
Skill 1 – Void Blast
Galactic Energy is released in the target area by Yve, dealing 170-320 Magic Damage to nearby foes and an additional 145 Magic Damage (+60% Total Magic Power) to enemies in the center.
If an enemy is hit successfully, Yve gains a 55% increase in movement speed (which is decreased if a non-hero enemy is hit), which degrades over a second.
The cooldown of this talent is shortened by 0.5 seconds if an opponent hero is struck in the middle of the region.
Skill 2 – Void Crystal
At the specified location, Yve conjures a Void Crystal that deals 220-420 damage to adjacent opponents.
Use Again: Yve instructs the Crystal to blast materialized energy in the desired direction for 2.7 seconds, slowing any foes struck by it by 35% and causing 90-165 (+20% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage every 0.45 seconds. Multiple hits slow down enemies by an additional 5% (up to 60%) for each strike after the first.
Skill 3 – Real World Manipulation
Yve establishes a Starfield that lasts [for] 15 seconds while granting her a 400–800 (+120% Total Magic Power) shield and displacement immunity. Up to 15 attacks can be launched while the timer is running by tapping or swiping the screen.
Tap: Inflicts foes nearby with 360–490 (+110% Total Magic Power) magic damage.
Slide: Deals 65–125 Damage (+10% Magic Power Overall) Enemies in the target area get magic damage every 0.45 seconds for 2.7 seconds, slowing them by 60%.
(Only once against the same target) Enemies leaving or entering the Starfield are rendered immobile for 0.3 seconds. If Yve is controlled, the Starfield will vanish before it has fully formed, and each subsequent assault will result in a refund of 3% of the skill’s cooldown. After the Starfield vanishes, the shield wears out after two seconds.
