How to find
- Pul Runes may be among the extra Runes that the Countess drops after facing Hell difficulty.
- A Pul Rune is one of the rewards of the Hellforge’s 1 in 11 chance of dropping on Nightmare or Hell difficulties.

Effects
- Unless it was previously higher, an item socketed with a Pul Rune raises the item’s level requirement to 45.

Horadric Recipes
- A Flawed Diamond and two Pul Runes can be transmuted to produce one Um Rune. (Only in open, ladder, or single-player modes).
- To upgrade a unique weapon from its base weapon type to its elite variant, you can transmute an outstanding unique weapon, a Lum rune, a Pul rune, and a Perfect Emerald. (open, ladder, or single-player only)
- To upgrade the rare armor’s base armor type to its elite variant, transmute an exceptional rare armor, a Ko rune, a Pul rune, and a Perfect Amethyst.
- To upgrade an exceptional set weapon from its base Weapon type to its elite variant, transmute it together with a Perfect Emerald, a Lum rune, a Pul rune, and an exceptional set weapon. fresh as of patch 2.4
