Hey, I’m Zathong and this guide is about Tir rune in Diablo 2. Tir grants item different properties depending on if the Socketed Item is a Weapon or a piece of Armor. Let’s just get into the details below!

How to find
- Tir Runes may be among the extra Runes that the Countess drops on any difficulty.
- One of the rewards for completing Hellforge on normal difficulty is a chance of 1 to 11 drops of a Tir Rune.

- Unless it was previously higher, an item socketed with a Tir Rune raises the item’s level requirement to 13.

- To make one Nef Rune, transmute three Tir Runes.
- To build a created hit power weapon, transmute a magic blunt weapon (any club, hammer, scepter, wand, or staff will do), a jewel, a tir rune, and a perfect sapphire.
- To construct a created Caster weapon, transmute a perfect amethyst, a jewel, a tir rune, and any scepters, staffs, or wands that apply.
