How to find

  • Lum Runes may be among the extra Runes that the Countess drops. just when attempting Hell.
  • The reward for defeating the Hellforge on Nightmare or Hell difficulty is a 1 in 11 chance of dropping a Lum Rune.

  • +10 To Energy

Armor, Helms & Shields

  • +10 To Energy

Effects

  • Unless it was previously higher, an item socketed with a Lum Rune raises the item’s level requirement to 37.

Horadric Recipes

  • One Ko Rune can be created by transmuting three Lum Runes and a flaw in an amethyst. (Only in ladder, open, or single-player modes)
  • To upgrade a unique weapon from its base Weapon type to its elite variant, you can transmute an outstanding unique weapon, a Lum rune, a Pul rune, and a Perfect Emerald.
  • To upgrade an exceptional set weapon from its base Weapon type to its elite variant, transmute it together with a Perfect Emerald, a Lum rune, a Pul rune, and an exceptional set weapon.
