How to find

Ral Runes may be among the bonus Runes that the Countess drops on any difficulty level.
A Ral Rune is one of the rewards for completing Hellforge on standard difficulty, with a 1 to 11 chance of dropping one.
You can obtain a Ral, an Ort, and a Tal rune by completing the Rescue on Mount Arreat mission.

To make constructed Hit Power boots, you can convert a gem, a Ral rune, a perfect sapphire, exceptional/elite version (mesh boots or boneweave boots), and magic chain footwear.
To construct a crafted Blood helm, you can convert a perfect ruby, a gem, a Ral rune, and an exceptional/elite form of a magic helm (casque or armet).
A constructed Caster amulet can be made by transmuting a perfect amethyst, a jewel, a Ral rune, and a magic amulet.
To make handmade safety gloves, you can transmute magic gauntlets, exceptional/elite versions (war gauntlets or ogre gauntlets), a jewel, a Ral rune, and a perfect emerald.
To give a weapon a random number of sockets, you can transmute a regular quality unsocketed weapon, a Ral rune, an Amn rune, and a flawless amethyst.
To add a random number of sockets to a helm, convert a normal quality unsocketed helm, a Ral rune, a Thul rune, and a perfect sapphire.
