Red Soul Shard Mechanics
Only during the January Anniversary Darkening of Tristram Event is this Gem available. Dispute control every so often, releasing a Ring of Fire that damages opponents it passes through by 12,500%. This Gem may be leveled all the way up to 150. Up to a maximum of 20,000% total damage, every upgrade will raise the Fire damage by an additional 50% weapon damage.
For 30 seconds after you level up, the rank 25 bonus eliminates all of your resource costs and cuts the cooldown on your skills by 75%. Your in-game stats will show the Cooldown Reduction portion, which is compatible with Captain Crimson’s Trimmings damage boost. However, the Resource Cost reduction portion is not shown in the in-game stats and does not function as a toughness boost!
This is the sole legendary gem that is socketed into a helmet and may be utilized at any character level. You are surrounded by a circle of fire damage that can crit and bursts to all sides. Every 30 seconds, it occurs. A 2-second self-stunnel serves as a signal. Crowd control reduction and immunity from abilities like Ignore Pain might affect and prevent the duration of this stun.

Only utilized while leveling, although even in this case, Gem of Ease is the most crucial gem to use. Now that issue has been resolved, this level 70 gem is not that intriguing.

To obtain more Legendary Gems for leveling up, eliminate all Legendary Gems of the same name from your Equipment, Inventory, and Stash. This will cause the Rift Guardian in any Greater Rift to drop a new Rank 0 Gem.
