Jaina’s Abilities

Frostbite

Targets affected by Jaina’s abilities are chilled, which slows them down by 25% and increases the damage she deals by 50%. 4 seconds long.

• Deal Chilled Heroes 15,000 spell damage as part of a quest.
• Gain access to Jaina’s temporary invulnerability by unlocking the Improved Ice Block ability as a reward.

Frostbolt

Chill the target and deal 184 damage to it.

Blizzard

Three waves of ice, each doing 142 damage, bombard the area. Inflicted opponents become chilled.

Cone of Cold

Chill targets and deal 220 damage to them.

Ring of Frost

Create a Ring of Frost that delivers 310 damage and Roots opponents for 3 seconds after a 1.5 second delay. Any foes who contact the ring will become chilled for the next three seconds.

Summon Water Elemental

At the specified location, a Water Elemental is called. The basic attacks of the water elemental do 62 damage, splash for 25% damage, and chill. The Water Elemental can be targeted again by reactivating the ability. 20 seconds long.

Improved Ice Block

Jaina’s Gameplay

Jaina is an excellent Area of Effect crowd management and burst damage Ranged Assassin with a focus on combos. In keeping with her Frost Mage motif, Jaina’s trait Frostbite passively causes all of her abilities to give Chill damage to their targets, slowing them down and increasing the damage of any abilities that hit an enemy who is already suffering from Chill. All entities in the game are impacted by chill in order to deal extra damage. This makes it possible for burst mage gameplay that is simple to learn but gives her kit a ton of depth in terms of how she may engage adversaries.
