Nova’s Talent Build

Nova’s Abilities

Permanent Cloak

Gain 3 seconds of stealth while not engaged in combat. Stealth is broken by being attacked, performing abilities, taking damage, or channeling. Invisible is obtained by standing still for at least 1.5 seconds.

Snipe

Attacks the first opponent hit for 230 damage.

The damage of Snipe is passively increased by 6% each time it hits an opposing Hero, accumulating to a maximum of 30%. At maximal stacking, receive an additional 25% damage bonus. If Snipe misses an adversary, all stacks are gone.

Pinning Shot

Attack a foe with 100 damage, and for 2.25 seconds, slow them down by 40%.

Holo Decoy

Create a decoy that attacks foes for 5 seconds while having 100% of Nova’s current health and dealing 10% of Nova’s base damage. A Decoy effectively doubles the damage it takes each time it receives damage by dealing that same amount of damage to itself. Stealth is not compromised when using this Ability.

Triple Tap

Identifies the target Hero, then unleashes three shots that deal 372 damage to the first Hero or Structure they strike.

Precision Strike

With a delay of 1.5 seconds, does 435 damage to nearby opponents. endless range.

Ghost Protocol

Activate to give Nova stealth right away and spawn a holo decoy nearby. When being Stealthed via Ghost Protocol, Nova is Unrevealable for the first 0.5 seconds.

Nova’s Gameplay

A stealthy ranged damage dealer, Nova. Her outstanding long-range single-target burst damage is her best quality. Additionally, she is always Stealthed when not engaged in combat, making it challenging to determine her whereabouts. She is a perfect candidate for roving thanks to this lethal combo. Because of the repeated positioning adjustments necessary to avoid taking damage from her, vulnerable Heroes become less effective. Due to her vulnerability and lack of a mobility ability, Nova must use trickery and assassinate her enemies before they can react.

Nova is a specialized Hero who is readily countered because of her binary nature, which makes her superior against weak Heroes and inferior against everyone else. In order to specifically penalize setups that rely on a lot of weak Heroes or don’t have instant defensive tools, she is generally selected late in the draft.
