Malthael’s Abilities

Reaper’s Mark

Basic Attacks cleave in a zone in front of Malthael and Reaper’s Mark is applied to non-Structure targets for 4 seconds. Enemies that have been marked are disclosed and suffer damage per second equal to 1.75% of their maximum Health.

Soul Rip

Take the souls of surrounding opponents affected by Reaper’s Mark, healing Malthael for 25 each time a target is hit while causing 100 damage. Malthael receives bonus healing from heroic targets equal to 4% of the hero’s maximum health.

Wraith Strike

Refresh Reaper’s Mark and deal 59 damage while instantly teleporting through an adversary with the Reaper’s Mark condition.

Death Shroud

Release a wave of dark mist that attacks enemies and leaves Reaper’s Mark on them after 0.25 seconds.

Tormented Souls

Release a torrent of souls, continuously marking adjacent opponents with Reaper’s Mark for 4 seconds. Reset the cooldown of Wraith Strike when Tormented Souls is cast and after it expires.

Last Rites

Apply a death sentence that, after 2 seconds, will cause damage to an enemy hero equal to 50% of their lost health.

Repeatable Quest: Last Rites’ cooldown is permanently decreased by 5 seconds, to a minimum of 20 seconds, for each enemy slain between the time it is applied and 1.5 seconds after it deals damage.
