Skill Enhancement
Order skill enhancement: S2 -> S3 -> S1. (Up her s2 first things first, for her to get all of her Combat Readiness. After that, go for her s3, for the -1 turn cooldown. S1 is optional, for the extra damage and the effect chance.)
Skill List:
Name | Type |
---|---|
Shadow Call | Active |
Guide of Darkness | Passive |
The Umbral Hour | Active |
Artifacts
Her Own Artifact | Scroll of Shadows meshes pretty well with her skillset. Thanks to her counterattack buff, she’ll be attacking a lot off her turns. |
Less Damage | [Acquired in Guild Shop] Due to how much damage Aria will be taking, Proof of Valor will be a good choice for her. |
Cooldown Decrease | Etica’s Scepter relies a bit on RNG and luck, but it can be a good choice for Aria. Her s3 will help build up to her ultimate skill, and that is what Etica is for. |
Soul Burn | Tagehel is always a good artifact for any Mage to use. Aria is, of course, no different. She works great with Tagehel, if you can’t think of anyone else. |

Aria Gameplay
Pros and Cons
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
S1 can lower hit probability and hits two foes. S3 gives her access to counterattack and can shield teammates from AoE assaults. She is simpler to rig for offensive thanks to her S2 passive. She has defense scaling, thus you can use all of your DEF-based equipment. | She becomes practically useless if someone steals her buffs. High S3 cooldown time. Her ultimate attack requires 5 Focus to trigger, but it is not particularly difficult. |
How to play Aria ?
The first released scaling-off defense mage is Aria. She can therefore be constructed to be durable and deal good damage. The good news is that by designing her around the team (quick or bruiser team, for example), she can fit into any team composition.
She benefits from her S3’s self-counterattack, self-defense enhancement, and stealth + barrier for her teammates. As a result, she is attacked by foes that can only utilize single target strikes, forcing her to defend herself and prepare for the huge S2 passive attack.
When she gains 5 focus, her S2 passive unleashes a potent AoE attack that removes 2 enemy buffs and pushes them back as well. It also grants her a crit rate bonus (which is simpler to gear) and a crit damage bonus (as her health decreases). Quite good, if you ask me.
Her S1 has a hit chance debuff and can attack two foes. It is optional to give her some efficacy and effect resistance. She gains some of their stats upon awakening. However, you might require them for PvP.
