Strategy 

When Kaoru uses skill 1 to hit a target twice in a row, her next use of skill 1 will inflict Slow and deal massive damage. Players can take advantage of this during laning by using this skill on minions.

Skill 4 will prioritize locking onto enemies marked by “Owly’s Gaze”. Exploit this mechanism to focus fire on specific targets and inflict high damage.

Ability

Passive: Owly’s Vigilance

Whenever Kaoru’s Basic Attack or Ability deals damage to an enemy Shikigami, she will gain a 30% Movement Speed Bonus within 1.5 seconds that continues to diminish. This effect will refresh whenever she deals damage.

Skill 1: Pebble Pelt

Kaoru mischievously throws a rock at the designated direction which splits on-hit, dealing 40(+60%Attack) (+2%TargetMax HP) Physical Damage to targets in the area. If this ability hits a target twice in a row, the next use of this ability will deal 60(+90%Attack) (+6%TargetMax HP) Physical Damage and inflict 50% Slow for 1 seconds.
Every 1% increase in the Crit Rate will increase this Ability’s damage by 0.5%. Meanwhile, Kaoru’s Basic Attacks on-hit reduce the cooldown for [Pebble Pelt] by 1 seconds. The cast time for [Pebble Pelt] also decreases along with Kaoru’s increase in Attack Speed, up to a maximum reduction of 50%.

Skill 2: Owly’s Gust

After taking a deep breath, Owly fires a stream of air at the designated direction, inflicting 80(+100%Attack) Physical Damage and 60% Slow for 2 seconds on all enemies along the path. Kaoru gains the Vision of the targets hit and marks them with “Owly’s Gaze” for 6 seconds. Kaoru’s damage dealt against targets with the mark is increased by 20%.

The Ultimate Ability [Come On, Owly!] will prioritize attacking targets marked with “Owly’s Gaze.”

Skill 3: Owly’s Protection

Owly provides Kaoru with a Shield that lasts for 2 seconds and can block an enemy Shikigami’s Ability once. If the Shield makes a successful block, increases Kaoru’s Attack Speed by 20% for 3.5 seconds and gains a 50% bonus to Movement Speed that diminishes in 2 seconds.

Skill 4: Come On, Owly!

Kaoru holds onto Owly, who flies in an arc at the designated direction. While in flight, Kaoru gains a 100(+100%Attack) Shield and Owly attacks enemies with 6 feathers, each dealing 65(+60%Attack) (+2%TargetMax HP) Physical Damage (for every 1% Crit Rate, the damage from this ability increases by 0.5%). If multiple feathers hit the same target, the subsequent damages are reduced to 50%. Furthermore, every 15% increase in Kaoru’s Attack Speed will provide Owly with an additional 1 feathers, up to a maximum of 6 feathers. At the end of the flight, all unused feathers are cleared.
