Doug’s limited range limits both his offensive and defensive effectiveness, but he has adequate range to attack foes and heal allies who are up to a tile away from barriers, which he can exploit to his advantage by doing so. This severely restricts throwers who may normally hide behind walls.
Since being defeated while under the influence of the Super does not result in the loss of any collectibles, defeating a specific enemy or group of adversaries is as simple as using Doug’s Super and charging towards the group to attack. When employing this tactic, be sure to pay attention to how long his Super lasts.
