Best Mid in Smite for beginners 2024 are: Heimdallr, Hera, Kukulkan, Discordia, Persephone… These champions are currently extremely strong. If you can pick, you’ll have somewhat of a head-start in the game.
Top 5: Heimdallr
Heimdallr is a Hunter God has ability good sustained damage, high Crowd control. He easy harassment and poking enemy with him skill. So, I suggest you should use Heimdallr mid.
Heimdallr will have power spike is at level 5, you need take advantage of this period to organize teamfights.
Through The Realms (Skill 4) will help Heimdallr easy hit the enemy as: Adc, Jungler and sometimes Support.
Heimdallr can clear soldier by shooting his first 2 auto attacks.
Top 4: Hera
Hera is a mage God has high damage balance, lots of AoE, has escape and shield from skill 2 (Polymorph). So, I suggest you should use Hera mid.
Early game: you should clear minions and poke mid laners on both sides with skill 2 (Polymorph). Always keep wards to control vision to avoid unexpected ganks.
Mid game: you should gank in lanes.
Late game: organize fights and get targets.
Top 3: Kukulkan
Kukulkan is a mage God has high damage, good lane clear and great harass. So, I suggest you should use Kukulkan mid.
Early game: Kukulkan is very weak, so just focus on farming and try not to take any damage. Actively withdrawing if you see the enemy close and you need to plug your eyes to get vision.

Mid game: When you have decent damage you can play a little more aggressive.
Late game: play teamfights with teammates, use skills wisely to deal as much damage as possible.
Top 2: Discordia
Discordia is a mage God with good burst damage, strong control, hard to catch, amazing harassment and poking. So, I suggest you should use Discordia mid (max damage).
You need to focus on building Discordia towards: Magical power, magical penetration and cooldown reduction.
Top 1: Persephone
Persephone is a mage God has good burst damage, excelent poking, healing, and controls teamfights. So, I suggest you should use Persephone Mid.
If a fight is about to happen, harvest the choke points and use Flourish to activate the Sprouts.
Try to aim skill 4 (Grasp of Death) at stun targets or in between the frontline and the backline.
Grasp of Death (skill 4) won’t get affected if enemy’re behind a wall.
