Xiang Ju is really strong with his AoE and you shouldn’t underestimate his power. Probably the best cavalry commander in Rise of Kingdoms. And also if you do rally cities, pair him up with Chandragupta and you will deal amounts of damage that’s beyond imagination.
Xiang Yu Talent Tree builds
Skills
Warlord’s Courage (Active Skill)
In a forward-facing fan-shaped region, deals up to three targets with direct damage (Damage Factor 900). For every extra target, the damage done to each is decreased by 25%. Targets that are hit successfully also experience a 3-second 10% defense reduction.
Snow-hooved Stallion (Passive Skill)
Under this commander’s command, cavalry troops gain 3% more march speed and 20% more attack power. They have a 20% chance of gaining 5% march speed for three seconds when they are attacked. An effect like this can happen once every five seconds.
Conqueror of All (Passive Skill)
Troops under this commander’s command do 1% more damage when attacking strongholds or governor’s cities. Additionally, standard attacks have a 10% chance to deal extra direct damage (Damage Factor 200), which can happen up to once every three seconds.
Forceful Spearhead (Passive Skill)
The cost of the active skill is lowered by 10 wrath while on the map. Troops under this commander will gain a stack of cavalry damage +1% and march speed -10% for 10 seconds after applying the active skill. If they are surrounded, you gain another stack. Up to six times can this effect stack.
Unbeatable Warlord: Passive
This commander’s troops deal an additional 10% skill damage. Troops’ skill damage will increase by 10% for three seconds after receiving a wrath buff for more than one turn. At most, this effect will occur once every five seconds.
Xiang Yu Pros and cons
Pros:
- Excellent AOE damage capability.
- Cavalry commander, quick and powerful.
- Renowned conqueror with a focus on taking down adversarial cities.
- Fearsome cavalry commander with rapid rage regeneration for both abilities and skills.
- Able to utilize it for both PVP and Open Field attacks as well as conquest.
Cons:
- Lacks the ability to restore soldiers during combat.
- There aren’t many functions available for Xiang Yu to use in PVE events.
