Tyrael’s Abilities
Archangel’s Wrath
Upon dying, become Invulnerable and gain 20% Movement Speed for 4 seconds. Upon expiration, explode, dealing 450 damage and reducing Tyrael’s death timer by 10% per enemy Hero hit.
Archangel’s Wrath reduces nearby enemy Heroes’ damage by 50% while active and for 3 seconds after it expires.
El’druin’s Might
Throw El’druin to the target area, dealing 110 damage to nearby enemies and Slowing them by 25% for 2.5 seconds. Reactivate within 5 seconds to teleport Tyrael to El’druin and Slow nearby enemies again.
Righteousness
Shields Tyrael for 336 damage and nearby allies for 40% as much for 4 seconds.
Smite
Rake target area for 150 damage. Allies moving through the targeted area gain 25% Movement Speed for 2 seconds.
Judgment
After 0.75 seconds, charge an enemy Hero, dealing 150 damage and Stunning them for 1.5 seconds. Nearby enemies are knocked away and take 75 damage.
Sanctification
After 0.5 seconds create a field of holy energy that makes allied Heroes Invulnerable. Lasts 3 seconds.

Tyrael in Heroes of the Storm is a strong support tank thanks to his ability to initiate fights and protect his teammates.
Players should use El’druin’s Might (E) to engage or escape, Smite (Q) to chase and speed up the team, and Holy Ground (W) to control the position.
Choose Sanctification to protect teammates in large fights or Judgment to pick off the enemy’s main force.
Tyrael is most effective when working with teammates, both blocking damage and creating opportunities to counterattack.
