How to get Star Power for Spike?
Star Power are unlocked when Spike reaches Power Level 9. You can be purchased for 2000 Coins (or a combination of Gems and Coins).

Popping Pincushion
Spike shoots 3 waves of needles in all directions, dealing 520 damage per hit.
Life Plant
Spike grows a large cactus with 3500 health to give cover to friendlies. If destroyed, the cactus bursts, and all nearby friendlies recover 1000 health.
How to get Gadgets for Spike ?
Gadgets are unlocked when Spike reaches Power Level 7. Gadgets can be purchased for 1000 Coins (or a combination of Gems and Coins).

Note:
Speed Gear: When hiding under a bush, brawlers equipped with this gear will move 20% faster. Once the Brawler exits a bush, this effect will end.
Health Gear: Brawlers equipped with this Gear will regenerate 19.5% of their maximum health per second, cutting down on the amount of time it takes for them to recover naturally.
Damage Gear: When a brawler’s health is less than 50% of their maximum, they will do 15% extra damage.
Vision Gear: After damaging adversaries with their attack, gadget, or star power, brawlers equipped with this gear can see them for 2 seconds in a bush.
Shield Gear: Gain 600 more health as a regenerative shield. When at full health, the shield regenerates in 10 seconds.

Tips and Tricks
Spike’s attack deals the highest damage in the game.
Since Spike has limited health, you need practice shooting around barriers and anticipating enemy movement when using him to reduce the chance that the adversaries will be able to harm you.
The 6 spikes in his attack always spread out in the same pattern, at 60-degree angles, no matter your position or rotation.
Since Spike’s spikes can be shot all over the place (especially with Curveball), you can use some of those needles to check bushes for hidden enemies.
