Rage Requirement: 1000 Reduces a target’s anger by dealing direct damage to it, and for two seconds, silences the target unit, preventing it from using its current skill.
Military Genius (Passive Skill)
This commander gives his archer units more attack power and faster marching speed.
Legend of Teutoburger (Passive Skill)
Soldiers stationed in the garrison and the Watchtower come under more fire when this commander is in charge of your city.
National Hero (Passive Skill)
Increases the troops under this commander’s command’s standard attack damage. Additional anger may be granted by regular attacks.
Dead End Enchanced: Ambush
Reduces a target’s anger by 100, deals direct damage to it (Damage Factor 1150), and silences it for two seconds, preventing it from using its active skill.
Background
At the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest in 9 AD, Arminius, also known by his German name Hermann, was a prominent member of the Germanic Cherusci tribe. He famously led an allied coalition of Germanic tribes to a decisive victory against three Roman legions. Arminius, a Roman general Publius Quinctilius Varus’s auxiliary lieutenant, ambushed and destroyed the legions using his understanding of Roman tactics. The Roman Empire permanently withdrew from Magna Germania as a result of its defeat at Teutoburg, and it never again made deliberate attempts to take and control Germania beyond the Rhine. One of the most important and decisive battles in history, Arminius’ victory has been called “Rome’s greatest defeat” by contemporary historians.
