Using the “Chosen One” skill has a 30% chance to cast an additional Level 5 “Chosen One” when the commander’s soldiers are exclusively cavalry.
Background
The Mongol Empire, the most contiguous empire in history, was founded by Genghis Khan, also known as Temüjin. When Temüjin was just nine years old, Tatars assassinated his father, the leader of a nomadic Mongol tribe, and his family was deserted by their clan. The ascent of Temüjin to prominence coincided with a shaman named Kokochu proclaiming that he was the world’s chosen ruler, chosen by the Eternal Blue Sky. After uniting all of the divided tribes residing on the Mongol plains by 1206, he adopted the title “Genghis Khan,” denoting his status as the world’s supreme ruler. Soon after, Genghis Khan launched a string of victorious incursions into China and Central Asia. His political acumen and military prowess enabled him to consolidate the territories he had gained under Mongol rule. Following his conquest of the Western Xia kingdom, Genghis Khan passed away in 1227. Legend has it that a mounted funeral escort that slaughtered anything and everyone that was in their way on the route to their destination returned his remains to Mongolia. After the body was buried, the escort stampeded over the gravesite, planted trees to hide the location even more, and ultimately killed themselves to make sure the secret would never be discovered.
