About weapons in Diablo 3
One-handed, two-handed, and ranged weapons are all possible. Generally speaking, there are two categories for weapons: melee and ranged.
In Diablo 3, weapons may roll the following stats:

- Chance to Stun
- Slow

- Blind
- Fear and Knockback on hit

Since the damage of every damaging skill is expressed as a proportion of the basic attack damage, the plain damage of weapons has become extremely significant for all classes.
