How To Get
Unlocked in Level 6 Barracks, balloons are the first aerial unit to be unlocked in the Home Village and the sixth troop overall to be unlocked in the Barracks.
Strategy
Offensive: You can request balloons in lesser trophy ranges (up to Bronze league) and destroy your opponents because they most likely won’t have an air defense system yet. Balloons are a fantastic way to get resources and prizes, as are Minions, Baby Dragons, and Dragons if you can get them through donations from your clan.
Defensive: A single Balloon can be destroyed in two strikes by an Air Defense of equal level because of the balloon’s extremely slow moving speed, limited melee range, and low health. Swarming balloons is advised, but air bombs should also be avoided.
