Strategy
The light orb created by Divine Light does not need to strike an enemy shikigami directly. As long as the target is linked to a Takamagahara Statue, hitting the statue will also transfer the damage.
After landing Light Purification on an enemy, the stun duration is sufficient to follow up with Divine Radiance to summon a Takamagahara Statue, which can pull the enemy toward it.
Recasting the Takamagahara Statue near an existing one and striking an enemy shikigami again can also link a nearby, previously unconnected enemy, rapidly increasing the number of chained targets.
Ability
Passive: Heavenly Radiance
Amaterasu grows stronger as she gains levels.
At level 6, her first empowered basic attack or Divine Light that strikes an enemy shikigami linked by Chains of Light inflicts bonus magic damage, which then spreads through the Chains of Light.
At level 11, when the Takamagahara Statue vanishes, it briefly boosts her Movement Speed.
At level 16, an execution cross manifests at the center of the Execution Ground, dealing extra True Damage and slowing all enemies caught within its area.
Skill 1: Divine Light
Amaterasu releases a beam of radiant energy in a chosen direction. When it strikes an enemy, it deals 50 (+45% Ability Power) magic damage and slows the target and nearby foes by 25% for 1 second. After a short delay, a luminous blade descends on the impact point, dealing an additional 50 (+40% Ability Power) magic damage to enemies in the area and creating a light orb that remains for 3 seconds.
Skill 2: Divine Radiance
Amaterasu calls forth a Takamagahara Statue at a target location, which remains for 8 seconds and deals 50 (+30% Ability Power) magic damage to enemies within its area.
Light orbs created by Divine Light will unleash radiant energy toward the Takamagahara Statue, extending their reach (prioritizing targets linked by Chains of Light), dealing 60 (+70% Ability Power) magic damage and applying a 25% Slow to all units along their path. In addition, radiant blades descend upon the positions of all affected shikigami and statues, dealing 50 (+40% Ability Power) magic damage.
Once Amaterasu reaches level 11, the Takamagahara Statue grants her a 60% Haste bonus when it vanishes.
Skill 3: Light Purification
Amaterasu releases Shackles of Light in a chosen direction, dealing 80 (+35% Ability Power) magic damage and stunning the first enemy shikigami hit for 1.25 seconds. If another nearby enemy shikigami is not already linked by Chains of Light, a chain is formed between them, dealing an additional 80 (+35% Ability Power) magic damage. The Chains of Light remain for 6 seconds and will snap if the connected units move too far apart.
If the initially struck enemy is stunned and a Takamagahara Statue is within range, the target will be pulled a short distance toward the statue.
After reaching level 6, Amaterasu’s first basic attack or Divine Light that hits an enemy shikigami linked by Chains of Light deals an extra 30 (+25% Ability Power) magic damage, which then propagates through the chain.
Ultimate: Holy Judgment
Amaterasu channels the sun’s radiant power to create the Takamagahara Execution Ground at a target location, dealing 100 (+50% Ability Power) magic damage and slowing all enemies within the area by 25% for 0.5 seconds.
While the Execution Ground remains active, it pulses every 0.5 seconds, each pulse dealing 25 (+10% Ability Power) magic damage and applying a 25% Slow for 0.5 seconds to enemy shikigami within range, for a total of 8 pulses.
After Amaterasu reaches level 16, an execution cross materializes at the center of the Execution Ground, striking enemies in the area with 195 (+35% Ability Power) true damage and inflicting a 50% Slow for 0.5 seconds, occurring up to 8 times.
