Diablo Immortal best settings guide
Number | Setting | Detail |
---|---|---|
1 | Shadows | On the other hand, this is the group’s biggest hitter all together. While there is a visible visual difference (shadows become more pixelated and are eliminated from some environmental aspects, like grass), lowering from Very High to High improves performance by 30%. If you just want extra frames, this is a great setting to drop. |
2 | Post Processing | Once more, you may turn this off. There’s no sense in losing the extra effects when turning it off, as the average frame rate was 111 frames per second. |
3 | Fog | The only other setting, Low, has little effect on performance, so leave it on High. |
4 | Anti-Aliasing | It’s crucial to have AA in any form when your screen resolution is limited to 1080p. Furthermore, performance was marginally reduced while lowering from Very High, with the High setting averaging 110 frames per second and the Low setting 109. |
5 | Environmental Details | Another environment where performance is unaffected by reducing from the highest quality. |
6 | Vegetation Burning Effects | You may leave those veggies burning because, like the Visual Effects and Monster Effects settings, this has no discernible effect on performance. |
7 | Monster Effects | This has an impact on the opponent abilities’ animation frame rate and visual flair. You might as well stay on High because, while there isn’t much of a visual loss when going from High to Medium, performance isn’t enhanced either. |
8 | Global Lighting | Turning off Global Lighting, another toggle, improved my performance by a significant 17%. When comparing screenshots to actual gameplay, this slightly lessens the eerie vibe, but it’s not as evident. |
9 | Bloom Effect | just a basic toggle, on/off. With both generating 112 frames per second, neither performs better nor worse than the other. |
