At Town Hall level 7, the first hero to be unlocked is the Barbarian King. He is a Barbarian who is bigger, stronger, more aggressive, impressive, and powerful.
Strategy
Offensive
Often employed to form funnels, the Barbarian King will remain outside the Walls and clear out buildings put outside if there are no holes in the surrounding Walls.
The Barbarian King is frequently used as a tank to break through fortifications and provide troops with low hitpoints a chance to survive.
He can be used in the same way as any other unit when attacking.
The best way to employ him is with ranged soldiers like the Wizard or Archer. When most or all of the fortifications have been demolished, he is also useful in aiding in the destruction of the village’s remaining structures.
Defensive
The only hero incapable of taking out aerial units is the Barbarian King. In spite of this, he can still stall non-preferred targets like Dragons, as they will still target him even though he is not a threat to them.
The Barbarian King, unlike the troops in the Clan Castle, cannot be enticed to the map’s edge and subsequently destroyed because the defenses are not in place (unless his altar is close to the edge).
