Explanation
Umi
2-piece Set When dealing physical damage, final damage is increased by 8%/9%/10%/11% and physical damage is increased by an additional 4%/4.5%/5%/5.5% for 3 seconds. This effect works in the background, and if multiple sets are used, the highest star set will take effect. 4-piece Set When equipped with 2 or more physical weapons, final damage is increased by 24%/26%/29%/32%. This effect works in the background, and if multiple sets are used, the highest star set will take effect.
Extremely high damage set effects with permanent uptime.
Samir
SSR
2-piece Set Increase damage progressively by 1% upon hitting a target. Stack up to 10/13/16/20 times. Lasts 1.5 seconds. 4-piece Set Increase Dual EM Stars’ electrical explosion damage by 16%/22%/30%/40% of ATK.
Gleipnir can easily maintain the full buff with its fast attacks and passive damage refreshing stacks. Samir and Crow/Shiro matrices are a very good option if you don’t have Fenrir matrices or are using them in the background.
Crow
SSR
2-piece Set Increase crit damage to targets with less than 60% HP by 24%/30%/36%/42%. 4-piece Set Crits deal additional damage over time equal to 18%/22%/26%/30% of ATK every second for 5 seconds. Does not stack.
High damage matrix set when you have high crit rate. Gleipnir’s 6th advancement grants crit rate so may be more effective than usual, displacing Shiro 2-piece.
Shiro
SSR
2-piece Set Increase both damage and shatter to targets with more than 50% HP by 15%/19%/22.5%/26%. 4-piece Set Upon entering battle, gain a 20%/25%/30%/35% damage boost for 35 seconds. Reset 5 seconds after exiting battle.
Great set effects for both shatter and consistent damage increase. Use 4 set for quick fights, otherwise pair with 2-set Samir or 2-set Crow.
Lyra
SSR
2-piece Set Use this weapon to increase all attack types by 13%/17%/21%/25%. The lower the HP, the higher the healing received, which can be increased up to 100%. 4-piece Set When dealing physical damage, increase physical damage by 2.7% with a cooldown of 0.1 seconds. Stack up to 5 times. Upon reaching the maximum stacks, increase physical damage by an additional 3.5%/7%/10.5%/14% for 5 seconds. Only the highest star rating’s effect is applied when obtained repeatedly. Obtain 1 block for each dodge, blocking damage up to 60% of current HP, but not less than 20% of Max HP. Stack up to 3 blocks for 10 seconds.
This set should ideally be used on Lyra’s Vespers, but can be used on Umi’s Mobius as well for some utility and okay damage.
Crow
Sobek
SR
3-piece Set Increase damage dealt by 6%/7.5%/9% for each enemy nearby. Up to 3 stacks.
A good substitute for SSR damage chips if you don’t have them. Very useful against groups of mobs, i.e. in Bygone Phantasm.
By default the set effect only applies when using the weapon that the matrices are attached to, unless otherwise specified.
There are 4 slots on each weapon; Emotion, Mind, Belief, and Memory. Each of these slots gives slightly different passive stats.
Matrices can be strengthened similar to weapons, with each star unlocking higher values for the set effect.
