Explanation
Fenrir
SSR
2-piece Set Crit damage increased by 20%/24%/28%/32%, does not stack. This effect works in the background, and if multiple sets are used, only the highest star set will take effect. 4-piece Set Dealing volt damage increases final damage by 5% for 10 seconds, up to 5/6/7/8 stacks. This effect works in the background, and if multiple sets are used, only the highest star set will take effect.
Fenrir’s matrices are absurdly powerful and ideally should be used on other weapons since they work in the background, but if all your matrices work in the background, using them on Gleipnir is fine.
Samir
SSR
2-piece Set Increase damage progressively by 1% upon hitting a target. Stack up to 10/13/16/20 times. Lasts 1.5 seconds. 4-piece Set Increase Dual EM Stars’ electrical explosion damage by 16%/22%/30%/40% of ATK.
Gleipnir can easily maintain the full buff with its fast attacks and passive damage refreshing stacks. Samir and Crow/Shiro matrices are a very good option if you don’t have Fenrir matrices or are using them in the background.
Crow
SSR
2-piece Set Increase crit damage to targets with less than 60% HP by 24%/30%/36%/42%. 4-piece Set Crits deal additional damage over time equal to 18%/22%/26%/30% of ATK every second for 5 seconds. Does not stack.
High damage matrix set when you have high crit rate. Gleipnir’s 6th advancement grants crit rate so may be more effective than usual, displacing Shiro 2-piece.
Sobek
SR
3-piece Set Increase damage dealt by 6%/7.5%/9% for each enemy nearby. Up to 3 stacks.
A good substitute for SSR damage chips if you don’t have them. Very useful against groups of mobs, i.e. in Bygone Phantasm.
By default the set effect only applies when using the weapon that the matrices are attached to, unless otherwise specified.
There are 4 slots on each weapon; Emotion, Mind, Belief, and Memory. Each of these slots gives slightly different passive stats.
Matrices can be strengthened similar to weapons, with each star unlocking higher values for the set effect.
