Hey, I’m Zathong and this guide is about Defender build in Battle Bay. Defender is a ship has very high health and defense, but has significantly slower speed.
Setup 1: Weapons: Railgun, Big Berta, Swift Torpedo.

Other items: Big Shield (x1), Turbo, Standard Shield (x2), Bandage.

Setup 2: Mine
Weapons: Mine (x2).
Other items: Standard Shield (Filled by HP perks or Defence perks) (x2), Bandage (x2), Turbo

Setup 3: Blast Cannon, Fire Bomb, Missile Launcher.
Weapons: Blast Cannon (with a perk or talent that increases damage while enemies are on fire), Fire Bomb, Missile Launcher.
Other items: Turbo (x2) (after getting a high-level Turbo, it can be replaced with a Standard Shield due to the max speed of the ship being reached), Big Shield, Bandage (x2)

Strategies For Defender
For MK5 and above: One known strategy is Mine, Triple Torpedo and Missile Launcher for the weapons with the defensive items being shields, and a Turbo.
With setup 1: Offensive-class defensive strategy, with some HP boosting items with it.
With setup 2: This strategy is only for defending your team. Well support for your team, you cannot attack enemy directly.
With setup 3: This setup helps getting rid of the slowness of the Defender, although your health will be low compared to Defenders using many shields, you would be faster than most other ships,.
