Open by using Ability 1 to crowd-control the enemy, then follow up right away with Ability 2 to deal optimal damage. Ability 3 enables allies to move through walls, giving you the advantage of guiding your team into surprise attacks from unconventional routes. The ultimate ability features an extended casting range, letting you start team fights safely from afar. When enemies are successfully hit and controlled, you can swiftly signal your team to engage and overwhelm them.
Ability
Passive: Cloud Piercing Featherling
Whenever Young Ootengu deals ability damage to an enemy shikigami, he generates 1 Featherling that lasts for 10 seconds and provides him with a shield, with a maximum of 6 Featherlings active at once.
While Featherlings are present, Young Ootengu’s attack range is increased by 175 yards. When he uses basic attacks against shikigami or monsters, all active Featherlings are consumed to strike the target. Each Featherling inflicts 12 magic damage (+10% Ability Power + 4 × current level), restores 10 HP (+5% Ability Power + 2 × current level) to Young Ootengu and the nearby allied shikigami with the lowest HP, and grants 1 stack of Cloud Pierce.
Young Ootengu automatically gains 1 Cloud Pierce stack every 20 seconds. Upon reaching 50, 75, and 100 stacks, the abilities Wind Blades, Wind Bind, and Windrunner Spell are empowered respectively. When Cloud Pierce exceeds 100 stacks, every additional 3 stacks grants 1 point to a main stat.
Skill 1: Wind Bind
Young Ootengu unleashes a gust of wind in the chosen direction, dealing 80 magic damage (+50% Ability Power) to the first enemy struck and launching them into the air for 0.8 seconds (+0.08% Ability Power). Once the knock-up ends, the target is afflicted with a 0.3-second Fall effect, briefly restricting movement and reducing movement speed by 60%.
Enhanced Effect: If the initial hit connects with an enemy shikigami, the whirlwind divides into multiple smaller gusts that seek out nearby enemies. These secondary whirlwinds deal 30 magic damage (+15% Ability Power) and apply a 35% slow for 1.5 seconds.
Skill 2: Wind Blades
Young Ootengu conjures a Wind Blade zone at the chosen location, remaining active for 1.5 seconds. Every 0.25 seconds, waves of wind blades strike enemies within the area, dealing 45 magic damage (+30% Ability Power + 1.25% of the target’s max HP) and applying a 1-second, 4.5% slow that can stack. Repeated hits on the same target deal only 30% of the original damage. Activating Ability 2 can generate up to 3 Featherlings.
Enhanced Effect: The formation speed of the Wind Blades is doubled, allowing the attacks to trigger more rapidly.
Skill 3: Windrunner Spell
Young Ootengu bestows Windrunner upon himself and a selected allied shikigami, placing both into a flying state for 4 seconds. During this time, their movement speed increases by 10%, and they are able to pass over terrain (allied shikigami may do so only once).
While airborne, Young Ootengu gains vision of enemy units within 1000 yards, though his own position is simultaneously revealed to opponents.
Enhanced Effect: Casting this ability creates an updraft at the target location for 5 seconds. Any allied shikigami that move through the area receive Windrunner, and Young Ootengu’s own Windrunner duration is extended by 1 additional second.
Ultimate: Cloud Piercing Wind
Young Ootengu channels powerful winds at the chosen location, which converge and transform into a massive hurricane after 1 second. All enemies caught within its area are knocked up for 2 seconds and become untargetable during the effect. Once the knock-up ends, a 0.3-second Fall effect is applied, briefly immobilizing them and reducing their movement speed by 60%.
If the selected location is farther away, the hurricane takes longer to form, with the preparation time increasing up to a maximum of 1.5 seconds.
