Anima Squad Defender Comp Build Guide

Team Comps Recommend: 5 Anima Squad + 2 Defender.

All champions: Miss Fortune, Riven, Vayne, Samira, Sejuani, Sett, Draven, Nasus.

How to play?

This comp uses the standard leveling strategy that revolves around a 4 cost carry.

This build requires a good start with econ and units, but is very flexible as there is one AD carry, and one AP carry, allowing you to build multiple item holders until hitting ace 4.

Early game guide

Roll champions:

Using team comp: 3 Anima Squad + 2 Mascot + 1 Civilian. Look for an early anima squad start to build stacks with Nasus, Sylas, and Jinx.

Mid game guide

Roll champions:

Using team comp: 5 Anima Squad + 2 Brawler. Pivot as quickly as possible into Vayne & Riven.

Late game guide

Roll champions:

Using team comp: 5 Anima Squad + 2 Defender + 3 Ace + + 2 Brawler + 2 Mecha Prime.

Vayne and Miss Fortune are the carries here, providing AD/True Damage, and AP/Heal cut for a wide variety of comps.

Carries Items

Recommend items for Vayne:

• Guinsoo’s Rageblade: Attacks grant 4% bonus Attack Speed. This effect stacks.
• Tactician’s Crown: Your team gains +1 maximum team size.
• Runaan’s Hurricane: Grants 20% bonus Attack Damage. Attacks fire a bolt at a nearby enemy, dealing 50% Attack Damage as physical damage.

Recommend items for Miss Fortune:

• Blue Buff: Grant 10 bonus starting Mana and 20 bonus Ability Power. Reduce the holder’s maximum Mana by 10. If the holder gets at least 1 takedown within 3 seconds of casting, gain 20 Mana.
• Morellonomicon: Grant 10 bonus Ability Power. Magic or true damage from an Ability burns the target, dealing 10% of the target’s maximum Health as true damage over 10 seconds, and reducing healing by 30% for the duration.
• Jeweled Gauntlet: Grants 15 bonus Ability Power and 15% Critical Strike Chance. Damage from an Ability can critically strike.

Recommend items for Riven:

• Warmog’s Armor: Grant 700 bonus Health.
• Grant 700 bonus Health.: Grant 150 bonus Health. Every 2 seconds, an enemy within 2 hexes is burned for 10% of their maximum Health as true damage over 10 seconds, and reducing healing by 30% for the duration.
• Gargoyle Stoneplate: Grants 13 Armor and 13 Magic Resist for each enemy targeting the holder.

Anima Squad TFT:

When an Anima Squad champion kills another champion, they pause to celebrate and your team builds fame.

Anima Squad champions gain Attack Damage and Ability Power, plus 4 additional maximum Health according to their shared fame.

• 3 – 20% Attack Damage and 20 Ability Power
• 5 – 40% Attack Damage and 40 Ability Power
• 7 – 99% Attack Damage and 99 Ability Power

Defender TFT:

Innate: Shortly after the start of combat, Defenders taunt nearby enemies. All allies gain bonus Armor. Defenders gain more.

• 2 +30 Armor, +60 for Defenders
• 4 +60 Armor, +120 for Defenders
• 6 +100 Armor, +200 for Defenders
