Hey, I’m Zathong and this guide is about How To Use Diablo 3 Legendary gems. Let’s just get into the details below!
How To Use Legendary gems
Speaking with Urshi, who appears next to a dead Rift Guardian, can grant you Legendary Gem upgrades after you finish a Greater Rift within the allotted 15 minutes, increasing their strength.
The Greater Rift tier associated with the Gem’s rank determines the likelihood of a successful upgrade.
You receive three chances to upgrade from the base, plus an additional one if you survive the whole rift and an additional one if you buy gold to empower the Greater Rift before going through it.
You can use these upgrade attempts on any Gem in your shared stash or on your character.

Typically, when augmenting, the plan is to use your Gems to level up to a GR tier that you can complete in under three minutes, after which you can use them to upgrade your speedfarming equipment. Later, you can employ a 4-Player group to level up a new set of Gems and push them past speedfarming tiers. You will employ these powerful gems on your pushing equipment.
Legendary Gem Creation:
To obtain more Legendary Gems for leveling up, eliminate all Legendary Gems of the same name from your Equipment, Inventory, and Stash. This will cause the Rift Guardian in any Greater Rift to drop a new Rank 0 Gem. Placing them in a different character’s inventory is the safest way to do that.
Each Legendary Gem has a different function; some increase damage, some grant you large shields, and some greatly increase your character’s survivability.
