About Armor in Diablo 2
In Diablo 2, there are five different types of armor pieces: belts, boots, gloves, shields, chest armor, and helmets.
Every piece of armor has an equipment slot where it can be equipped.
Armor offers defense, reducing the likelihood of being struck by enemies, as well as other fixed and random modifiers that alter the player’s numbers.
Armor can be found in dungeons, within player-openable chests and crates found across the environment, as drops from enemies or bosses, or it can be crafted.
