How To Get

When the Dark Barracks are constructed, the Minion, the first dark elixir troop in the game, is automatically unlocked.

Strategy

Offensive:

Despite their obvious weakness—low health—minions are often incredibly valuable utility soldiers.

Because they only require two housing spaces and are comparatively inexpensive, minions are a great tool for group rush tactics.

Minions are a component of the highly effective Balloonion farming attack method, which is used for Town Hall 7s, 8s, 9s, and even 10s.

Defensive:

Try to drop air bombs close to areas where swarms of minions are expected to be deployed.

Keep in mind that looking for air mines won’t help. But standard air bombs will.

A good defender to have in the Clan Castle are minions. Besides being aerial troops, they also take up less space and have a decent amount of damage.
