How To Get
A Super Troop based on the Lava Hound is called the Ice Hound. It may be obtained by giving the Lava Hound a boost once it reaches at least level 5.
Strategy
Offensive:
It is imperative to ensure that the Ice Hound gives birth to puppies, as failure to do so will render its Freeze ability nearly worthless. Lava Hounds and Ice Hounds can be utilized in LavaLoon attacks in remarkably similar ways. Once popped, their Ice Pups can destroy enemy Heroes and act as a shield for the balloons.
Use each Ice Hound carefully or it will be a waste because they are only worth 1/7th of a maximum army.
Defensive:
The Ice Hound’s high health and capacity to freeze make it a potentially useful unit for Clan Castle. The Ice Hound and its Ice Pups would actually be too slow to be of any service because of the Poison Spell.
