How to get Gadgets for 8-Bit ?
Gadgets are unlocked when 8-Bit reaches Power Level 7. Gadgets can be purchased for 1000 Coins (or a combination of Gems and Coins).
Gears
Prioritize: Reload Speed > Damage > Speed > Health > Shield > Vision.
Note:
Speed Gear: When hiding under a bush, brawlers equipped with this gear will move 20% faster. Once the Brawler exits a bush, this effect will end.
Health Gear: Brawlers equipped with this Gear will regenerate 19.5% of their maximum health per second, cutting down on the amount of time it takes for them to recover naturally.
Damage Gear: When a brawler’s health is less than 50% of their maximum, they will do 15% extra damage.
Vision Gear: After damaging adversaries with their attack, gadget, or star power, brawlers equipped with this gear can see them for 2 seconds in a bush.
Shield Gear: Gain 600 more health as a regenerative shield. When at full health, the shield regenerates in 10 seconds.

Tips and Tricks
Due to his strong damage output and area control abilities, 8-BIT is most effective in the following games: Heist, Gem Grab, Hot Zone, and Siege.
When you are playing as 8-BIT, charging and activating his Super is crucial.
In comparison to quick Brawlers like Crow and Leon, 8-BIT’s is quite weak. Focus on taking out these Brawlers at a distance in the beginning of Showdown fights before they close in and start dealing more damage.
You can also get away by teleporting back to your booster and far from the opponents with your cheat cartridge gadget.
Place your booster down to tank some shots if you are running from someone and your health is low so you can get away more quickly.
In order to further support 8-BIT’s already strong health from a distance, Byron can employ his healing skills.
With the help of his Super and the Extra Credits Gadget, 8-BIT was able to kill nearly every Brawler in the game without running out of ammunition.
