Background
During the latter part of the Sengoku period, Ishida Mitsunari was a samurai and military leader from Japan. Most people undoubtedly remember him from his role as the Western army’s commander in the Battle of Sekigahara, which took place in the 16th century after the Azuchi-Momoyama period. Jibu-no-shō (治部少輔) is another name for him.
