Gadgets are unlocked when Darryl reaches Power Level 7. Gadgets can be purchased for 1000 Coins (or a combination of Gems and Coins).

Note:

Speed Gear: When hiding under a bush, brawlers equipped with this gear will move 20% faster. Once the Brawler exits a bush, this effect will end.

Health Gear: Brawlers equipped with this Gear will regenerate 19.5% of their maximum health per second, cutting down on the amount of time it takes for them to recover naturally.

Damage Gear: When a brawler’s health is less than 50% of their maximum, they will do 15% extra damage.

Vision Gear: After damaging adversaries with their attack, gadget, or star power, brawlers equipped with this gear can see them for 2 seconds in a bush.

Shield Gear: Gain 600 more health as a regenerative shield. When at full health, the shield regenerates in 10 seconds.

Tips and Tricks

Darryl’s movement speed is slightly faster than that of most other Brawlers since he is a Heavyweight.

In Brawl Ball, he can be quite useful by self-passing, by kicking the ball forward and using his Super to roll into and retrieve the Ball.

His Super is great for quickly escaping enemies/dangerous situations or getting closer to enemies, and Darryl rolls extremely quickly.

An effective way to use Darryl is to charge his Super and reload all your ammo, use it to roll into an enemy, and auto-aim all of his ammo.

Darryl’s Super can knock back an enemy’s Super if timed correctly while rolling on to an opponent, just like Frank’s Super can be cancelled by Shelly’s Super.

In maps with a plethora of bushes, use Darryl’s Recoiling Rotator Gadget to scout out the area.

Darryl’s Rolling Reload Star Power allows him to ambush and defeat heavyweights more easily with his Super, because it can drastically increase his damage output.

Using his Super with his Steel Hoops Star Power, Darryl can deal significant damage to the IKE turret Siege by rolling in and shooting at it.
