How To Get

When the Dark Barracks are brought up to level 4, the Golem, a Dark Elixir Troop, becomes available. They have a lot of hitpoints but are slow ground infantry who do little damage.

Strategy

Offensive: A good tactic is to unleash Golems, then hold off on unleashing Archers, Barbarians, or Wizards until all splash damage defenses, such as Mortars and Wizard Towers, have fired on them.

Defensive: Like Ice Hounds and Lava Hounds, golems are extremely powerful units that can be employed to absorb fire. Because the golem may effectively divert enemy defenders for a substantial amount of time, position it such that it is in the midst of or within range of the majority of your defenses.
