Strategy

The Hog Rider is a swift ground unit with low damage and middling hit points.

Offensive: When utilizing Healing Spells, it’s a good idea to carefully place them on a group of defenses (three or more), as well as to cast them in front of the Hog Riders just before they arrive. In this way, the Hog Riders can smash the fortifications without taking too many HP hits and maximize the effects of the Healing Spell.

Defensive: It’s difficult to defend against hog riders because they can get around walls and become ineffective. They may, however, abandon their ground support—Barbarians, etc.—because they will be unable to pursue them given their ability to leap over walls and attack defenses. Your interior defenders will then be able to focus on the Hog Riders.
