Battleguard is a 2-Star Legendary Gem that provides Resonance, Combat Rating and it’s own unique gem power.

Battleguard using for Gear & Classes

Gear	Classes
You can equip it into any Primary Gear Slot: Main Hand, Off-Hand, Helm, Chest, Shoulders or Pants. Legendary Gems increase in power up to Rank 10, unlocking new effects and growing in power along the way.	This is a decent gem for melee classes like Barbarian, Crusader and Monk if you’re seeking damage reduction.

All non-5-Star Legendary Gems can be crafted using Runes at the Jeweler in Westmarch. Crafting a Battleguard costs the following Runes:

• ATI Runes – 28
• ECE Runes – 2

Battleguard How to Obtain

Legendary Gems can be obtained in the following ways:

• Crafting with Runes at the Jeweler.
• Spending Platinum at the Marketplace.
• Trading Hilts at the Hilts Trader.
• Rewarded from the Battle Pass.
• Completing Elder Rifts while using a Rare Crest or Legendary Crest.
• Exchanging Fading Ember at the Fading Ember Merchant.
